Awesome! Just an awesome day on the pond....only saw 4 boats south on the west side of the 302 I have a spot there and wanted to see if they were there....saw seiner about 5 miles south so knew they were in the area....found a nice paddy baited up a 20-40 pound outfit threw out on my avet two speed with 40 pound and 80 pound spectra backing and then waited......boom! Epic battle over an hour fish moved us 3/4 of a Mike from the paddy before she settled in.....

Honestly, this report is better than some of the pure bragging ones recently. At least he gave an approximate location, on bait, etc....
Could be sea donkeys, but congrats on whatever it was.

This report is missing the most critical part...the conclusion.
    I hope the dude didn't die mid-post.

I agree, the posts that say "heres a huge fish i just caught" without saying the conditions, the time of day, the general area (within 20 miles?), tactics, tackle, etc are total ego strokers for the posters.

Sorry guys, AJ is having technical difficulties with his phone but was able send me a pic of the fish up on the scale, a real beauty! He'll have the conclusion to the story posted pretty soon!
