Capt. Don is giving me the privilege of sharing todays trip with all of you. Been trying to get a trip set up with Capt. Don for a little while now and we finally got to go yesterday. Met up with Capt. and crew today and launched a little later at 0700. I was kinda feeling out everyone at first trying to see where I would fit in amongst these guys. I knew everything was going to be fine when at 0730 just outside the harbor I look down from the bridge and see Tyler wearing a bucket on his head and rubber boots, pole dancing on the bridge ladder. The games had begun! Quickly got settled in with these guys and got to work out there. We ran out to the spot and started looking for open schools of mahi. It didn't take the Capt. long and it was chaos on the deck of the Kimi Ann. Mahi flying everywhere, most made it into the boat. After the initial morning run the fish seemed to be pretty sketchy. We hit pile after pile, pulling 1-2 mahi off each. Nice day on a beautiful boat, good weather and steady fishing action. Does it get much better than that?

Big Mahalo to Capt. Don, Tyler, Justin, and Robb. Thanks for showing me how its done. Look forward to many more trips with these guys. ALOHA Brad

    Hey captdon,
Good going on your catch! Thanks for checking in on me yesterday and helping me locate some fish. Did manage to catch me some kaukau but gotta learn how to load em up like you. Water was small kind rough going home yesterday afternoon! Nice to be on a boat like yours when fishing off the windward side!

Thanks for the pic Capt.. I'll bring a copy of the ones I got next time I see you. Got a great picture off the bridge as the sun was coming up, but for some reason my computer still won't upload it.
