I am looking for 4th angler to join the Ascension Islane trip on June 14 - 20 2017.
The cost is about $2000 to fish 4 days on a boat with 4 anglers except tip and airfare.
The airfare is about $2000 from the US.
This is a life time experience for tuna lovers.

It is a short notice as Capt just informed that the second boat is available.
It is 27' - 28' boat and it cost around $850 euro per day.
I don't think fishing in the Island is more expensive than fishing here excpet airfare.I don't know why your friend said it cost 15K.
The airfare from London to Ascension Island is $952 round trip.
We might stay at London on the way to Ascension and on the way to the US.

There are only two flight to the Island a week. So the trip is 6 days or 9 days and I choose 6 days as 5 days action packed fishing is good enough.

Kil I would stay at Brize Norton area on the way to Ascension instead of London; your layover is less than 24 hours A good place to stay is The Vines at Brize Norton, just minutes from the RAF base and good rooms, 2 or 3 pubs within walking distance.

On the way back from Ascension to Newark, USA, I have made it in 20 hours door to door with only 90 minutes layover at Heathrow. Twice this has worked out well for me.

    Basil, thanks for the info.
I thought I don't go to Ascention Island this year until Matthias contacted me recently. We reserved four passengers on the plane to Ascension Island and I am looking for the 4th anglers. We go even with three anglers if I don't get 4th anglers.
I wil decide within two days whether we go with 3 anglers or 4 anglers. I can't wait for long.

I have to decide to go with three anglers or four in a few days as we have to give anglers' info to confirm our reservation of flight to Ascention Island. There were only 4 seats available now.
