With the valiant the 300 diameter is a little smaller than the 400 - is that the same with the tern? Or is the tern 300 just a narrower 400?

Here is a nice side by side comparison for you guys. Notice on the Tern we elected to use the same size knob on the 300 size as on the larger sizes based on feedback we got from the Valiant. FullSizeRender-4.jpeg

So, the 400 is just a wider 300?

Will the 500 be taller and same width as 400?

The sizing is all very similar to the BV series. The difference that can throw people off is the gear box because it is larger on the TX series because it holds the TwinStarDrag. The spool sizes are the same as the BV series for each size.

As of yesterday, JandH only received 12 and they had approximately 150 preorders. Guess I'll have to wait little longer.

Would this be another case of “Broken Committment”??? The last ruckus was with CABELA and eventually PENN Handle it Excellently in the end...KUDOS to Mike.

Lets Test ACCURATE Customer Service this time......

My Pre-Order in July @ JandH made a Promise of OCTOBER 1, 2018 as ARRIVAL Date after changing it once.....However they said it WONT Be Available Not until Several Weeks from now.....started to get Disappointed...

So the shipping delays because you were swamped with orders was obviously BS if the preorders couldn't even be filled. How about the truth for once huh?

The preorders are being filled first for the TX-300X and TX-400X. The other sizes and gear ratios will be shipped after these. I think part of the confusion revolves around how a dealer and a manufacturer view a "preorder," and I apologize for not clarifying my meaning earlier. For us, any order a dealer has placed before we start shipping them is a "preorder", but on the retail end customers can also "preorder" from a dealer. Whether the reel ends up in the hands of a customer who "preordered" a reel from the dealer or whether it ends up on the shelf in a store because a dealer ordered more than they received "preorders" for is not anything we can control, unfortunately. We regret that we had to delay our shipping of the Tern reels, but we received a massive amount of preorders from dealers!

For those who have preordered from a dealer, thank you for the support! We are building these as fast as we can with the same quality you come to expect from Accurate! We want them in stock at every dealer just as bad as you all do and are doing our best to accomplish that!

I totally understand your frustration regarding the delays. Trust me, I hear all the complaints. That being said, these are worth the wait, but don't take my word for it! Once you all get to start fishing them you will understand why we took the extra time to make sure everything was right!

If you have any specific questions or complaints regarding a dealer and your access to a Tern, please send me a PM, I would be happy to help you out!
