Accurate Fishing Products, originator of the Valiant reel, has expanded their product line to introduce the first line of Valiant rods.

Anglers often have questions about what rod to pair with their new Valiant reel. There is now a perfect match for each Valiant reel from size 300-600. Fishing rod technology has evolved drastically in the past decade, but until now, there havenot been many good options for anglers seeking a lightweight, yet powerful rod to match the light weight and power of their Valiant reels.

The systematic approach of building the rods to match the reels was seamless and we believe we have a line of rods that is perfect for whatever type of hard-fighting saltwater gamefish you want to take on.

    The Valiant Rods Feature:

    · Lightweight composite construction

    · High quality tangle-free guides

    · Custom fit components to match the reels

    · 12 models designed to fit BV-300 to BV-600

    · One year warranty against material defects and craftsmanship

I have gotten the chance to fish these rods myself and I have to say they are really something else. The light weight is incredible, and the action will blow your mind.

They are rated to that, but based on feel, I would say the M can handle jigs up to about 300g before becoming maxed out, and the MH up to about 500g. I would think the MH would be better in deeper water. Both are a little faster action

    And: MSRP?

Come on Accurate your amongst friends here.
You know we are train spotters about this kind of thing, look at all the questions/interest in the Tern.
If you want a following for your rods some transparency and information sharing will help. IMO
    Cheers Pete

Sorry about the delay everyone! I was not able to get to BD for a few days and it looks like I missed a lot! The MSRP ranges from $275.95 to $289.95. The rods were designed by us and the blanks are from our own supplier that was able to make the blanks to our specifications to perfectly match the Valiant.

If you have doubts, I would encourage you to stop by Seaforth, Squidco, Evike, Anglers Arsenal, or East County Bait and Tackle and strap a Valiant to one of the new rods and pull on it for yourself! The first batch has shipped out but I am sure will be gone quickly! The next batch will be shipping soon!
