Awesome. AA is an outstanding operation. Thanks for the report. Congrats on the cow. Your details on the fight sound vividly similar to my last trip although I did not end up with the same result. Congrats again!!!!

Great report, thanks for the details on the trip. I'm taking my first 8 day trip at the leaving September 30 on the AA. I can hardly wait.

Great time to go on an 8 day. Now that the AA has a Guadalupe permit who knows where you will end up fishing. You should catch a variety of fish and have a good time doing it. Best of luck!

Dang, I would have been bummed if I had lost this fish. I can only imagine how you felt. Just means the next one will be that much better.

    A couple of added observations.

    1. The kite was pretty much dead the whole time. Only got through 6 places on the rotation.

    2. Lots of needlefish and rainbow runners. Worst needle fish bite I have experienced.

    3. Big baits only produced 1 or 2 fish.

    4. Most of the fish we checked had lots of chuncks or sardines in their stomaches. My big fish was plugged with everything but sardines or chuncks. Full of tuna crab and a laundry list reef life. Triggerfish, cuddlefish, etc........ I think it only had room for one sardine when it bit mine.
