Photos always make the ocean lie down. I bet there was a raging 6" swell .
What lake is that you guys fish on?
NO, it was 10 miles or so off of Oceanside...made spotting the dry paddies easy...
Shoulda brought the water skis.
It was the same way on Friday. The deckhands would spot a kelp patty an it would take almost 10 minutes to get to it. At night while you were in your bunk it felt like you were tied up to the dock.
Here a pic of our rough day Saturday!
Horrible out there on Saturday.......
Hey now.........................don't be a dick.
damn guys, you on the west coat are brave fisherman
but not as brave as us fishing on north sea of cortez.
this is the Wild side of Gonzaga bay
and this is Konsag rock with the boat eating waters
It was a washing machine off Dana Saturday afternoon due to tall ship cannon wars and the flotilla that followed. We still caught bonito and got shot at broadside by cannon fire,
We were there also (D.P.) Saturday and took these pics..the morning was beautiful..on the way back in that evening..not so nice.
Looks brutal! But don't worry, I am going fishing in a few days, so there will be washing machine conditions, since that seems to be the only conditions I get to fish in.
Our rough Saturday.
Here was cortez sat
Behind Catalina Sat.
Stop, I'm getting queasy. I can't handle rough seas like that!
