Launched 5:00am (very early for me) great seas going west. Don't waste $ buying bait. All the mini macs you want for 10 miles under breezing 'chovies.
Ran most the way to the 181. Lots and lots of boat traffic. looked like a marlin tourney. We couldn't find the right paddie, and didn't really hear about anyone finding one. Water was dirty from MB out to about 20-25 miles west. 70-71 degrees. Saw two marlin, both jumpers. Skunked but nice sunny calm day on the sea. Going again tomorrow (hopefully). Mark............out

I think I saw you out there today, you looked sad too. Good luck tomorrow, you have more tenacity than me! I'm ready to give up on this season, bring on the 2# sculpin!
