new lo an 2.jpg Short story,
New Lo-An 1.5day trip, Came across porpouise found a school of BFT turned to YFT with a little YT, dorado and skipjack, finished by 12:30pm. Anything that moved was hit. 40 lb line was preffered. 2.5 hrs of insanity! Fish up to around 50lbs. Just awesome! YFT limits, 130 BFT for 32 of an awsome group killer crew and Capt. Don't have a clue where we were. Somewere south, southwest.

I was on that trip as well, easily best single stop in years, Markus and the crew delivered. We absolutely killed 'em. I picked up a limit of YFT, limit of dodos, 3 nice BFT, and a rat yellow and skippy to boot. I am still sore and my neighbors all picked up fillets, block BBQ and beer last night. I cooked up some dorado, YFT, and yellowtail, all delicious. Enough fillets for a year, incredible stop

Thanks for the invite Jay. Looks like we were in the right place at the right time. So much for Bluefin only biting the 20lb! That stop made up for my lack of saltwater stoke for the last two years. Thanks to capt. Markus and crew of the New Lo-An.

I out on the same day on the PRODUCER. I believe we went through that same school of porpoise without stopping. The captain metered fish but kept going because the jigs did not get hit. I was wondering if we should have stopped there. We did "OK" but the bite was not WFO like you guys.
