Got the day off and decided to hit the upper hidden bank for some tuna. Made it out of mission bay at 545 ,no luck making Mac's . Made it to the grounds by 730 in great weather. Found the fleet 25 sport boats strong ,so I trolled around them for no love over the first hour. They we all bent so I knew they were there. Drifted with them for a bit, still no love. So I left them to find my own, didn't take long as I found a school up not far from them. Shut it down and chummed heavy , took 30 min before the first bite on 20 lb set up. From then it was wide open . Limits with 5 baits. Stayed for a while catching and releasing 6 more as the bubba Jean pulled in and got their limits. Awesome!!!
It was 11 by then and the wind picked up so I ran NW to the 182 stopping on a few dry kelps before heading in at 3 . Great day and fresh tuna. Go getum.......

Ringed #2 circle hook , bait is small sardines 3 to 4 in. Pick a green one and it was a bite when it hit the water by the time I left them.
