8/12 Oside - marlin or blue?

    Saw this 5 miles west of oside today. Thought it was a marlin from a distance but thinking it may have been a blue shark. Got about 10 feet away before it bolted. Water was fairly green so did not get a good look at it. Guessing tail fin to dorsal fin was about 6 feet.

    Get it right.... it's "Purple Alligators" :D a term coined by the spotter pilots when looking down at them from the air. ;)

    I just call them ass kickers. When on the bridge..... Hey, I've got an ass kicker at 1 o'clock..... 300 yards LOL
