Another brief report... went out with MikeyLikesIt and a couple of his friends. We fished nice 70 deg. clean blue water from Point Loma up to the 182 spot. The best area we found was a few miles inside of the 182, fish were popping up everywhere but keeping their distance, we boated two nice Yellowfin, both on long soaks and constant chumming. Mikey was able to reach one school with his popper, but they wouldn't touch it. It was a long but helmet free trip (Max take notes) and there was some radio chatter about a better bite further north and some Dorado outside of us, so it appears to be a right place, right time kind of bite going on right now...

NOT wearing the helmut sure feels better than wearing it.
