Pretty much did the same. 302/226 to the 45 line, 1000fathom curve to the 10 line, east on the 10 to below the 425, back up through the 371 to the 302, home. 4YT. only 2 paddys holding in 71.2F water loaded with firecrackers. Pretty much sucked.

Swell was awesome easy rollen.

fed them everything I could think of iron, bait ,trolled bait, trolled iron, feathers rapalas etc.etc.

Chunks my friend, try chunks of anything fresh including sardines.More often than not,it gets those lockjawed dodos and yellow to bite.
Another tecnique that has worked for me in the past...troll a 5" bubble gum fish trap 75-100' long..
Anything is worth a try!

They have lockjaw because those paddies are loaded with baitfish. It's like swim-up dining for them. Same deal last weekend. I dove on 6-8 paddies and each one had a nice school of 3 inch baits with 2-4 tails guarding their food. Even saw a couple dodos....
What really pissed me off was I couldn't get 'em on bait, and I couldn't hit 'em with the damn speargun.............I need to do some optimization on the gun and my aim. gunz

You've got to match the hatch. They are feeding on 1-2" fry. The paddies are loaded with little fish. I fished a paddy with yellows on it for three hours last weekend. Tried everything sardines, macks, feathers, rapallas, krocodile, finally got one by chunking. Got two more a trout spoon and one on a tube jig (looks like a small squid).
