Tough day for us. Ran from Dana Landing to the 182. Trolled the area between the 182 and the boarder in rough water. Never saw any sign of tuna. We ran back toward the North 9 and came across a very nice paddie. Sure enough we get approached by a very large Great White. His length was double our transom width of 8 feet. I’m estimating somewhere over 16 feet long. He didn’t stick around for long. Interesting part, he had a handful of pretty nice Dorado following that we couldn’t get to bite.

Skunk for us today but the G/W sighting was pretty cool.

Oh yea, it was kinda rough out there today. Fairly large Tightly spaced west swell with some other mixed up stuff.

That is what I saw on the forecast. I am waiting until maybe Saturday. I have to pick my days. Surf is picking up as well. Not surprised by the Dorado. You saw them where I like to start looking for them.
