Had some buddies from work fly in for a few days so I can take them out and let them experience some SoCal fishing. So right then I'm nervous because of this cold front that came in and like anyone who has a boat knows the worst feeling is taking people fishing and not catching. ANYWAYS Fished Saturday for nada, water barely broke 67 with not slot of blue water. I've heard that with this cold water that it has made the fish even more skidding. Left DP Sunday morning and decided to troll some feathers, headed straight south towards O Side then trolled directly towards 209. Trolling about 250 yards behind the boat. About 11am first fish on, least I could say was that I was relieved. Got the boat to the fish and put some blood on the deck, started trolling again and about 2 hours later boom hooked up again. Will say the 2nd fish was smaller but holy shit he was a feisty MF. 69 degree water, beautiful blue and clear, sun shining, water flat and calm no wind.
