20" Center Consul/ Started at the 43 a Complete Dead Zone! Headed back at 1100am at 23 miles out at 300pm I found the one patty out of the 10 that was holding anything at all. A cloud of 30 12 pound Dorado! and some small yellow but metered some larger marks however. After 7 passes in the afternoon wind chop I was served only a large order of lock-jaw salad. Oceanside Bait has killer small green sardines BUT feed them Potato Spuds after they settle in and they will stay happier. My spear guy aka the Sealion couldn't come this trip don't leave port without yours!

We did the 267, 209, 277 thing on Monday.
    Pretty dead.
Out of 20 or so paddies, 2 were holding dodos and YT. Couldn't get them to go.
Trolling on the way back in, saw dodos up and out of the water on small bait
out in the middle of nowhere in open water.
Threw everything at em' but the kitchen sink. No fish for us.
Got back to the fuel dock and a guy got 2 trolling in open water.
    Very strange for up here.
Give it a couple of weeks...

The bait gets hungry when held in the receivers they can't feed so they will perk right up with potato spuds this is no secret right guys?

Whoah, this is the first time I have heard on someone else mention powdered mashed potatoes for feeding bait... There was a guy in Westport, WA, when I was a commercial fisherman years back, and no one could get out to fish due to weather, so he sat in the marina, turned on his lights, created a side light bar and hung at water level. He then proceeded to have to a pump line running in the water with a vacuum hose, next it was him chumming the water with powdered mashed potatoes, while sitting on a camp chair and wouldn't you know it.. There were bait balls of chovys around his boat, getting sucked up in the hose and into his bait tank. Absolutely red neck genius!
