Left kbay 0600 yesterday morning trolled around the LL nothing head to x loaded with boats made a couple of passes then made my way back up to LL outside about 6 mile 130 starts screaming slapped on max drag almost got spooled. Now starts the 3 hr battle during the battle a school of 40lbs mahi hung around the boat for 30 minutes almost got a gaffe in one of them , because I had no bait oh well just kept battling the marlin finally got um to the boat he was tail wrapped. What an awesome day thanks to the crew and fish gods! And thanks also to Scott and Bo for help with taking care of the fish!!
