Inshore 6/28 mussel farm and horse shoe

Left Long Beach about 8:30 with fresh dead squid and live Mack’s. Fished mussel farm for about 2 hours with no love. We used Mack’s, squid, plastics and iron. After that headed to horseshoe same situation however we saw a paddy there and pulled a nice size Barry from there and that was it. We fished it pretty hard for couple hours and tried trolling, bait, etc. headed inside LB harbor and caught 1 calico and 1 sandbass using squid. Fish were released. Over fun day with the boys regardless of fish counts. Looking forward for water temps to rise so I can head offshore. Hopefully there’s a little useful information for the next guy

Hope the seas were nice. We fish when we can get the opportunity and hope they want to jump in the boat. Sometimes it can be slow and even dead.
Glad you got out and had a plan.
