Got to the front side just after 08:00. Got 2 sheephead, 2 white fish, 1 sculpin, 1 calico. Moved to the backside - put in a good effort but wind and swell made it tough. Worked the frontside again for another sheephead and whitefish. Back to LB in the afternoon for a sand bass. All caught on fresh dead squid (Nacho only had anchovies).

Overcast most of the day. Sun tried to break through a couple times. Had to work for it today. Better than sittin at home.

Edit: A few more details - MOst of the fish caught had full bellies. Not as much bait as we'd been seeing last couple months. Saw a lot more paddys (closer to the island) than previous trips. Saw a species of dolphin that I've never seen before - white, blunt face. Slightly elongated, circular dorsal fin. Possibly "Rissos dolphin".

Thanks for the replies.

We got a half scoop of chovies, but the fish were not interested. We also tried market shrimp and arctic clams - both usually work pretty well for us but last couple trips the fresh dead squid outperformed everything. Also, no love on plastics. Next trip we'll try trolling.
