Left a little late off shelter with my brother around 10am, got nice bait. We went straight to 182 found some nice paddies no one home. Went south to 302 found another paddy metered some fishes 60 ft. Used flat fall, sinker/dines and lots of chum no luck. Headed to 43 the wind started to pick up water getting choppy and getting us wet. Got there still no luck all empty paddies. Headed back home and found the biggest paddy I’ve seen in a while on the 182 but when we got there, a sea lion was on top of it. Another disappointing day. No fish for the day but trailer wheel bearings broke while leaving boat ramp. Fml

Man you went searching hard that day. Sorry for the luck. That was a massive patty with nothing on it. Crazy! We went out on Saturday and found three tiny patties on the southwest corner of the 302 which was holding 25-30lb YFT. Got 3 before 8 am (40lb fluoro and 1/O circle hooks) and then chased big BFT on the knoll for the rest of the day but no hook up out there. Keep at it and you will connect.

Yep, I heard guys on the radio talking about that paddy last Friday. They were giving out the numbers to a paddy that they fished for an hour with no action..? Haven’t seen one that big in a while!
