A bit of a late report, but we headed out before 6am from the harbor in search of Ahi. Dropped lines at the 500 and worked our way down the coast slowly sliding out to the 750. Inside the pinnacle we found a series of bird piles that were biting the Aku lures. Hooked 12, but lost 3 at the boat working through a series of bird piles for about 3 hours. On the way back we took 2 knock downs from a marlin, but she didn’t stick. Back in by 2, and the fish went off to the auction. Just under 200#. Boys did a good job on the fish today.
