Quick report ..needed to test and run my buddies boat after some major repairs..so we launched out of Newport made some Mack’s and ran south. We trolled for T’s but no luck !! Ran the boat to our honey hole for some taco meat ...hooked a few nice ones.. stopped on a paddy no takers but metered fish at about 50ft. Water about 60 degrees and green ... boat was running awesome till the tail end ...bilge pump kicks on pumpin water not good !! Head for home looks like water is just pumping from the motor straight into the bilge and not a bad hose ... hopefully a simple fix but probably not .. bummer !!

Nice, I did same and got towed back in due to impeller failure. Made macks before the failure and was just outside the harbor near arch rock when boat went down. Be happy you got some fish out of the day at least

You were correct it was one of the plugs in the block that blew out... Cleaned out the threads with a 3/8 npt tap and put in a brass plug!!! Stoked!!!!! Easy fix
