    Seaguar. I think I slammed on the drag way too hard due to the adrenaline rush from the first bite of the day. Pushed it a little past strike on accident. :imdumb: Boat was still moving forward and the fish was probably turning / accelerating away from us.

    Nice write up Wilson. I was on this trip with you and don't think you missed a thing, other then these tuna were pissed! There were some that came over the rail after well over an hour and still had some fight in them. Had a great time talking and fishing with you. I also appreciated your offer to keep fishing and hook and hand as my morning was frustratingly action free. Luckily that sun downer paid off and saved my day. Hope to see you out there again.

    Any idea how far offshore you were? Thinking about heading out later this week but looks like anything outside of 60 miles might be pretty bumpy?

    It was definitely <60 miles offshore.
