left out of H-Kai sat. morning head up to Molokai to escort surf ski race sun. 2 hr. of chop off Makapu'u I turned down and headed for the elbow. 1/2 way across pick up the larger bull blind.Once on the banks nice water but no birds no fish. Droped ancor at Kaluakoi for the night. Sunday 5:00am race don't start till 10:00 so try a little more and catch a little bully. I was messing around with Bird and lure combos, both fish hit the same cracked glass Futa thou on diffrant birds.

Good going. Nice catch. Went out friday and the top side had some decent action. Maybe all the boats heading that way scattered the fish. That bigger one seems like a cow to me.

I hope the weather was Ok for you. At least you got some fish to make up for what I'm sure was a pretty bumpy ride.

A couple of nice mahi for sure; it's good to experiment!
