Launched from Sunset Harbor. Got sardines from Nacho and headed to Cat. Started Avalon east end. Worked around entire island including farnsworth. Targeting yellows but never saw any. Worked around some birds, dolphins and a ton of baitfish. Trolled and worked around outer platforms. No yellows for us. Water seemed pretty cold still all over. I think warmest was 54. Overcast all day, but boat ran great and beats workin. Saw a few other private and commercial boats out. Didn’t see anyone catching.

Thanks for the report we always appreciate them. That's strange Temp break indicates cold water around the rigs but 62F around the island. Joe and Andy are out there right now. The overnight boats got some on Monday.

Thanks for the post, I cancelled my plans there yesterday and was debating if that was a good call or not. Way to give it a go.

Seems like the half-moon phase is not getting the fish to bite?
