Here's the video with scale at the end. Reported by Carey Chen.
I am betting it looked really, really, really, really big!
Wow! That’s a beast!
No Fightbook for me.
That is a long and skinny fish. The spear fisherman does not look like the biggest of guys. If he were just 5’6” tall that thing is looking like a 90” to 100” Fork Length which is a huge outlier. Thing sorta looks like a bluefin with sicle fins and even the coloring on those fins is off.
Dominican Republic? Who knew?
Definitely strange shape and look at the size of the tail. Its huge.
Exactly what I thought. It looks EXACTLY like an east coast bluefin with yellowfin sicle's
How old would a fish that size be?
Thats the biggest skinny yellowfin Ive ever seen.
I agree that it doesn't look quite right. Could it be a bft/yft hybrid?
Anyone know how many bouys that monster pulled before it gave up?
Im pretty sure it came up to eat the buoy and choked on it.
my grandfather , and uncles always told of 500lb yft that would be caught in their nets. what a monster.
