Great bait at sd, its never their fault its just luck of the draw!!! Tip them!!! Out to my starting area just east of the high spots (226/302) water 70ish and green. Worked the trollers down the canyon south east of the 371 with 3 dry patties along the way and no life... Hooked west as the wind came up and it came up early... No signs of life in between the knoll back up to the west side of the 302 (4miles west). Water still 71ish. 12 slack 30... Some birds and small school of mixed fish... Blf, yft, and confirmed Bonita... Tried bait as my guys threw off the front... They didnt want the bait at all! Run and gun and these fish are really boat shy... Even with the engine shut down. My buddy Santiago final gets bit on a colt 80 gram and fish seemed pretty small by the fight and came to the boat pretty quick on a lexa 400... Popped his BLF CHERRY WITH A NICE 30 LB. fish! Chased school for another hour but only put 1 more Bonta and released on the deck seas where wind chopped out. So we split!
