All fish were caught on live squid, with 6/0 owner aki twist hooks, and dropper loop rigs.

Great job. Did you need a Mexican Visa for $40 and rush back to return it? Who needs Mexico, Viva USA.

It seems like every year you guys blow it up on an early trip right after the new year. I remember Jenn's seabass on the pink reel from last year that made into PCSF
Jonathon you sand bagger! You said to me once that "you never catch sheepshead like that at the island" Really? Whatever! Those were all pigs and looked like St Nick grade for sure! Sweet trip!

We arrived in Avalon on Friday. The trip from Dana was flat with some fog. We were on mooring 73 which is in the corner by the yacht club. We had plenty of sun there Saturday orning but our friends that were out front were stuck in the fog all weekend.

My wife is training for the March marathon and went trail running off towards the east end. She had an island fox come right up to her. I went fishing near Church Rock with squid strips and never had a bite.

The best part of the weekend was the Marlin Club. Spencer Davis ( I'm a man yes I am) and a few members of the Alman Brothers Band were playing there. It was all country rock. No cover charge and a great time.
