When I think fishing Wahoo I think the kelp line at Palos Verdes. Not the Ridge or Alijos. JK

    Thanks for the report.

+10 points for lipping a barracuda. 28" on those fish is minimum legal size. They smell bad but are great taco's and breaded fish sticks. Must ice them quick or they turn to mush.
Barracuda will clip off lighter lines, fish them with spoons and iron jigs.

There has been quite a few white sharks in that area seen by divers. There is also thresher sharks cruising up the coast right now in small packs. Either one of those are toothy. 6 gill sharks are also toothy and will clip off a 2' leader. Usually for sharks a 8-15' heavy wire leader will get the job done.

Those cuda are thick on the coast right now. They showed up this past week. Good sign that maybe some YT are close behind.
100/60 and killing it with calico, wacudahoo, and a mysterious seamonster. fun times!

Usually fish the bass with a bait caster and 12lb test so they weren’t a lot of fun to catch. Lol

When you call a cuda a wahoo and say you fished 100/60 in the kelp on a BD post you must be prepared to take a joke. Let's not resort to adolescent behavior. The jokes could have been much worst but we are all (mostly) respectable fishermen

Ah, so jokes only go in one direction and in that direction it’s adult behavior? lol. Taking notes. Got it. Just having some fun myself.
