Finally got to SD. Traffic was a bitch all the way from Flagstaff to here. Never seen so many fucking idiots trying to drive a car. How in hell did they get a drivers license? Fixin to eat at Mitches, come back to the room, have me a whisky and probably crash. Danny and Bart see you tomorrow. Be careful buddies. Tex

Guys, ignore the blues and get you a bag of Capt Jimmys bombs and head to the ridge and “wind”.

I don't know if we'll have a vote, Jon. I also am not sure who's driving the boat, but whoever it is will make the best call they can. If I had to guess, I'd say we'll first load up down South. Then, if there's time...and the blues are still there!...we might give them a shot.

Just a bit more than two days to go!

You guys have a great trip on the BIG X. Enjoy the time out on the water on a fishy boat. Great food... Great crew... and lots of time meeting new friends and enjoying your time.

Worried about the disturbance that could form within 5 days. 90% chance. I hope Mother Nature smiles down on us. Wind, rain, and waves I can handle; might be a bitch for everyone to follow their bait.Oh well. Being out on the ocean is just great. Looking forward to seeing all my friends and making more. Lets get it on. Tex.

It's all about if you need to park your car at the Landing. If so, you should get there at 7:00 (or before) to make sure you can (eventually) find a spot. That's spelled out in the email, and it's good advice.

I'm not parking a car in the lot, I'm getting dropped off. I am also just about the last person on the list. Even so, I expect to be there around 7:00. That's part of the fun/excitement.

Ap, you can get all the beauty sleep you need on the boat...ten whole days worth if you like!

Can't go...Wife says no. She wants me home so I can serve Hors d'oeuerves to her lady friends for Monday and Wednesday Bingo night(s). I had the last word because after all of this money and trip planning it just did not seem fair. I gathered my thoughts and nerve and told her: "Yes Dear", but I said it with an off voice inflection. Oh well...........Ap

I walked down to Anglers Choice yesterday morning while the wife was still sleeping. Went thru $250 quick. Colt Snipers, Flat Falls, Raiders, Super Mutu hooks, 40# floro, sinkers, Daho loop splicing needle. The hooks on the Colt Snipers are small. They are 3 way hooks. What should I change them out with? May walk over to the booze store after while and see if they have small cans of bloody mary mix or spicy V8. It's for the trip because the tummy is a little upset this morning. Doing the Texas 2 step...don't want to get more than 2 steps from the shithouse...but I should be ready for ribs tonight. Tex.
