Looking to bring my 23' Jones Brothers this summer for a 3 day or so vacation with the family. Any ideas. Needs to be child friendly. Ramp for the boat. Hotel or Bnb that has trailer parking. Light tackle fishing would be a bonus. Waterside dining and attractions as well. A few years ago we went to Crisfield MD and then took the boat to Smith Island in the Chesapeake. 6 hours max drive from NJ Not Montauk i keep my boat there in September for a month.
    Thanks

Not sure if it fits your Drive window, but consider Cape Cod. Striped bass, bluefish, and probably bluefin around P-town. On The Water has decent weekly online reports, as does the Goose Hummock shop.

I did the Monomoy striped bass tournament a few years and loved going up there. Not easy with my own boat. Most ramps are private and marinas are pricey.

Pamet Harbor in Truro is worth checking out. Easy in/out, moderate day rates, quick to get to P-Town for inshore, and the Bank for BFT.

Chincoteague Va, easy boat access at curtis Merritt harbor, awesome tuna fishing in June July at the lot, plenty of inshore and offshore fishing as well as some great surf fishing in April and may. Any question just let me know.

there has been some talks about the boundaries but I haven't heard of anything concrete. I haven't entered any of them but I am seriously considering it.. I picked up a smaller boat late last year so I can get back in some the sloughs her in DE!!

We fish the flounder tournament every year, there are no boundaries hou can state and federal waters, only time limits (lines in / lines out)

As far as your question on fish to target on your trip, tuna, mahi, wahoo, wreck fishing.
