    Hey guys,
Just passing Catalina on the way home from San Nic! 20190301_174433.jpg
Jumped on the "Pursuit" last night with about 25 cool peeps that fish the boat from time to time so good to see familiar faces. John was driving. Thomas in the galley. Gus and Gary were on deck. The boat is looking real nice with new fiberglass work, wood work , and a new bigger bait tank ! 20190228_201940.jpg 20190228_201643.jpg 20190228_201813.jpg 20190228_201802.jpg
I was a little worried about the weather going into this trip but it worked out that we slipped right in between the two storms and had one of the smoothest rides out and back from Nic I've ever had. Beautiful conditions all day ! 20190301_061329.jpg 20190301_080238.jpg 20190301_061334.jpg 20190301_110654.jpg 20190301_073616.jpg
We got to fish the deeper water today up to 240' I believe and the rest is no mystery. Limits of nice rockfish ! I think we got limits of lingcod. Also nice numbers of whitefish and sheephead. Enjoy the pics and get out there when the weather is good. Nice clean boat and crew were great as always ! 20190301_121112.jpg 20190301_122046.jpg 20190301_122315.jpg 20190301_125721.jpg 20190301_125801.jpg 20190301_125654.jpg 20190301_125617.jpg 20190301_125925.jpg 20190301_130154.jpg 20190301_122552.jpg 20190301_130046.jpg 20190301_125841.jpg 20190301_123931.jpg 20190301_124009.jpg
Oh yea. What worked? EVERYTHING ! Dropper loop, flat fall, large sliders, giant rubber sex toys, hot dogs, Velveta Cheese. It was all good !
    Cheers !

Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
Last time I dove at Nic was about 93-94.
Point Bennett, aka Shark Park after hitting Richardson's Rock.
About a week later an Ab diver was chomped on the thigh and bled out within minutes.

I really appreciate the report and especially the photographs.
