WOW its great to be King.
the only Tuna caught and my best fish ever and on my own boat
a 23 sea ox that I restored to bring to PV[IMG]
I really wanted to be in the tourney as I posted a month ago looking for anglers
but I figured it would still be worth crashing the party!
so off I go fishing with JT and G Money 4 a couple days to check out Tourture Chamber
    what a sweet ride
the fish were a no show but alot of Marlin to be had
I had some rough nights out on the town with my Crew
and wow you can really pound the flesh down there
they attack like a swarm a killer bee's as soon as you enter the clubs
    I like this town:taurus:
any ways well get back to the lady's later
went out solo to the rock to get the kinks out of my game and picked up a nice 47lb Bull dorado on a 6lb skippy what an awsome fight this fish put on
and jumped till he entered my kill bag
tasted so good at dinner that night
    [IMG]
off the next day to I cant remeber
this trip was off the hook
I think JT and our boys were out almost every night
the seas have been very flat this trip and I never get this treatment
    [IMG]

I start to see some bloody deckers around and know its tourney time
JT has invited me along to hang out out on the TT
but decline as I want to fish
he is very understanding and wishes me luck off I go
the 1st day of the tourney I think most boats well stay close
and I was right Im so glad I went long as my decision to go right instead of left has changed my life forever
I am lucky to have 2 awsome mates this morn SURG expert marine electonics
and a young gun Kyle who is working on the super Yacht 7 J"s
    great leader guy
we arrive to banco to 3 other boats and baby skippys all over
so I get out the bait rigs a planer and a purple rapala
    [IMG]
we get a bite on the Rapala and get the skippy half way to the boat
and the line starts ripping so i think cool tripple skipps
    and the line goes slack
fuck my lucky purple Rapala gone dam Wahoo! ( I think )
go on and put out baits 5 min Later down rigger 80 ft
ripps off and my accurate 50 with a 11 owner circle and new 130 Berkley
spectra and a 25 floro top made by (SD Angler) who I traded some leaders for a hair cut for his really cool wife the day before
so we clear the lines and put Surg at the wheel
and I strap in on a very heavy fish there is no dought in my mind
its a tuna we are moving with the fish at 4-5 knots
    and spinning on her
really working as a team know as the 1st hour goes by
and this bitch is taking line at will
and trying some tricks to get away
I say some colorfull word to surg as he has never drove a boat this way
to keep up with a fish and I gotta tell ya he did a great fucking job :appl:
Im now on the rail fighting for my life as well when a nice cloud covers the sun im on my 4th bottle of water and my hand are slipping off the reel
when my leader guy Kyle puts on my new Pelagic gloves and Im back in the fight 1 hour 30 min and I thinking the leaders to light
so i bump up to 60 lb of drag when the fish heads to Hawaii
and I almost launch out of the boat
thank god kyle was ther to save me i was on my way over
I also use a saftey line so should you!!!
I starting to gain with the dags punched up
and I have 40 feet to go when the fish starts acting up and blew out its heart at the boat and amost ate the prop
any ways in goes the flying gaff just in case and two bare foots for good
    measure
I have my 1st cow 1500 miles later
after 4 heart breakers in a row I on the board
me and crew go nuts and can hardley pull her over the gunnel
tapes out at 298lb fish the rest of the day in high spirits
and loose a bill fish at 4:00pm and call it a day
back at the dock we had a great crowd and pulled her up
    [IMG]
    to get an official weight
    on a cert scale

I also caught this fish while on the kicker motor to save fuel to make it home
I dont know if this has been done or not
I also caught this fish twice yes I said twice
is we were steaking her out my lucky purple Rapala was in he belly
now thats a fish take I will always rememer!

    P.S.
Thanks to my sponser Pelagic for for all the kick ass gear
and to all my new friend in PV
and a special thanks to JT for taking the time
to show me a few secrets
    of fishing and down town

What can I say..........You are the Man:notworthy :notworthy :notworthy

The extra cash would of been nice but seeing the smile on your face was priceless! I don't think any girl in PV would of been able to make you that excited!! Great job by your crew in helping you with a fish of a lifetime. I enjoyed being there to share in the fun.
