Looking for a twin inboard diesel between 28 and 32ft. At least 9' or 10' beam. Well maintained clean boats only.

Tower would be nice, but can add later.

No outdrives.

Skipjack 30, Topaz, Tiara, Henriques, Blackfin, Pursuit

Don't want 28 Carolina Classic, 28 Albemarle, or 28 Bertram. Too much deep V. Would consider a 29 Blackfin combi though.

Don't think I've ever heard that. But if you're concerned about rocking and rolling on the drift.......The CC28 mentioned for sale here does not have a tower. I doubt it's a concern on the drift at all on that boat. I have a tower and I'm used to the pendulum effect occasionally. Just bump it gear...........no problem. The trade off with that hull is your ride home and reduced dental bills to replace your fillings and your non existent chiropractor bills.

Yeah, the rocking, rolling, and added fuel costs of a deep V. I'll be adding a tower to whatever boat I end up with. I guess I don't see the point of a 24 degree deadrise in a 28 foot boat for our waters and/or style of fishing.

I have a 1999 pursuit 28' twin diesel inboard listed on yachtworld with yorath. in Long Beach. straight shaft, small v-berth for overnight, but not a full cabin. $55,000. Yanmar 240's.

On the Alblemarle 28 I minimized the snap roll with the factory recommended spray rails. They work will to reduce the roll. FYI

If your on the drift, rock fishing for example.......a drift sock works wonders.

You should be able to make a deal on a Albemarle 290 Express Fisherma (2008-2011 are the model years) for 100k.

Thanks guys, another thing on my list is a tower, so I'm looking for a boat with a tower or a boat that can fit a tower.

I'll go take a look at the CC28, Shamrock 290, and Rampage 30 this weekend. The Albemarle 290 is interesting, I hadn't noticed that boat. I will keep my eye out. Henriques 28 is on my short list, but I can't find any out here.
