I am selling this 1995 Boston Whaler 24' Outrage. Never bottom painted and always dry stored. Repowered with a 250hp Yamaha four stroke and runs great. I think it has about 1650 hrs. I usually get about 2.2 - 2.5 mpg depending on load. Updated plastic fuel tank (131 gallons). Plenty of range to chase tuna behind SCI. Engine service has been done by West Coast Marine. VHF and antenna were updated last year. Fish finder/chart plotter works fine. It is set up perfect for west coast style fishing! It has a tower perfect for spotting paddies. Has two (back to back) 50 gallon bait tanks (Pacific Edge style) plumbed with a manifold system to run each separately and for redundancy. Pacific trailer. Trailer hubs were replaced a few year ago. Trailer bunk risers are rusty and are ready for replacement. Again, this boat is set up perfect for west coast style fishing. Let me know if you have any questions. Located in O.C. Price Drop $29,000.

What speed do you cruise at for those burn numbers?

Depends on the load but for reference I usually fish with only one of the bait tanks full, half fuel tank, three guys, gear, etc.

4200 rpm is about 22 knots and I’ll get about 2.5 mpg
4600 run is 25+ knots and about 2.2 mpg.

Like most Whalers I’ve been in, she’s GREAT in a following sea. Perfect for running back when the wind kicks up out of the west in the afternoon. Unlike the classic Whalers, this model is actually decent in a head sea too.

I always like that mid 90s 24 footer. You know it's a good hull when they continue to make it today as a commercial model. I believe they call it the 24 Justice.

I have the same boat just not in as good of condition as Daves. I know because he's parked behind me. A great all around SoCal center console. She drives/handles/fishes like a bigger boat. I've done 250 mile days in mine with ease.

Hey Joshua. Thanks for the kind words. Sorry to see her go but as you can probably attest, I just don’t take her out much anymore. Life and work are getting in the way of the fishing I’d rather be doing. Like I said, someone will really enjoy this boat. Especially with the fishing heating up this season.
