Longtime PENN ambassador, Captain Buzz Brizendine of San Diego, landed his first broadbill swordfish this week. The 238-pounder was caught on a classic PENN International 50SW reel, and took 4 hours to land.

Mucho congrats!! What an achievement. Four hrs and he looks great. Any specifics on the setup? Bait used, line and leader size, hook type and size, type of rod, etc.?

The only additional info I have is that the bait was a rigged sewn-on squid on a single 18/0 circle hook, presented at 900 feet.
