Offshore 230-302 fish report.

Or should I say 230-302 water conditions.

Went to the above areas mentioned Sat 9/25. Going out in beautiful conditions, very smooth seas, barely a breeze.
Past by the S 9 with massive chovy schools, birds diving and white sided dolphins everywhere. Fished several spots
with nothing to be caught, didn't see much activity besides that.

Got to the 302 in 71 degree or so water and like has been lately, plenty of kelps to fish, just empty with bait under
them. Same goes at the 230, just little warmer and more empty paddys. Trolled cedars and rapalas when searching.
Radio reports 371 dead, but the 425 seemed to lucky for some anglers with some fish, but nothing wide open.

I would save your gas and fish farther south right now. Good luck!
