Holy COW! Congrats
The other vids are heartbreakers though
So jealous. Got to say about halfway through the first video I'm yelling at the screen to palm the spool. That tuna was not going to be stopped!
Holy COW. Literally
The most impressive catch I have heard of in a while.
All my fish caught on the Troll have one Fin on their Tail Clipped showing it's a trolled fish Hmmm!!!? Just Sayin ? Bitch'in Fish Buddy
He must have been running on the rocks when he got bit
Here's some new video on just how Dennis Verreet landed his fish, high up on the rocks in Ascension.
"2 massive yellowfin off the rocks on popper. 1 fish was 212 b (94 kg) and the other one 161 lb (73 kg). Both fish were caught on Angel Tackle Poppers. Available at: Global Tackle in Sydney. www.globaltackle.com.au
The big fish was landed just by me and my wife with only 1 gaff. Later the fish got picked up by boat. The other fish with 3 people and 2 gaffs, that´s why it looks a bit better. We carried the smaller fish back to the car and drove it back to the weighing station."
Melted a 1000+ dollar reel on one fish badass !! Too cool !!!
That's hard core. The best clip I have seen in a long time . Dennis you are so fortunate to have the life you have ..Truly living the dream ..Congrats !!!
I'd say you just set the bucket list bar pretty high!
Does can opener still apply ? Amazing!
230lb'er off the rocks:
No ice!?! Ha ha just kidding...
Congrats man! Most of us can only dream of doing something like that.
That is the new world record from shore , beats his own record from last year. I would love to try this.
Amazing stuff, but that looks brutal - not for me. Maybe a 100lb'r. I wonder if you can catch smaller tuna from the rocks also, or if it is all jumbo size or nothing?
