Offshore 209

Left Dana Point 530 with great bait started metering fish 2 miles east of 209. Started chumming went 3 for 7 on three hour drift. Used 40 as broke off 25 and 30 lb. After short fights. Nice temp break in the area other boats showed and kept thier distance. Saw other boats hooked up as well. Good luck get out there.

Result of last week’s fights at 209, 181. I put the rod butt on the other side of my hernia repair so at least that was OK. Going tomorrow and I’m wearing a belt.

Flyline or sinker rig? I couldn’t buy a bite on 30# (or sinker) last week. Went 2 for 2 on 34 and 36# bf on 25# and circle hooks.
