My plans are to slowly sell my gear down to almost nothing and cut my trips by 90%. It is what it is.

My buddy Brian and I will be trying the Indy for the first time on the 10 day right after this one. Nov. 10 -20th.
Been on numerous other boats, but really looking forward to this trip!

You’re going to love the Indy!!! Ed is really great in the galley, the crew is excellent, and the boat rides really well!!!

Here is my 2023 Fishing Schedule:

Intrepid 2 day April 25-27
Polaris Supreme 3 day May 17-20
Excel 3 day June 15-18
Shogun 4 day July 19-23
Independence 7 day Sept 23-30

Looking forward to sharing the rail again with my fishing buddies and meeting new friends.
Gonna have an epic fishing year!

June (family something or another and hope to slot in a 1.75-day fishing trip)
July 3 day Independence
August 5 day Intrepid
Sept - December Upland Game bird hunting unless something different comes around like Albacore or the BFT slows down and we catch something else.

What I will do differently this year is I will not bring a single BFT home.
I am going to try the jigging deal I am locked and stocked on all the small rod jigging setups.

Saw some openings on late summer 7-8 day trips and added one to my schedule. It’s been many years since I fished a Rice Bowl trip, booked the 7 day on the Independence 8/26-9/2. Need to inventory my Rice Bowl garments, I have plenty.

This pic is probably 20+ years old. If you haven’t seen Fred in the last couple of years, you wouldn’t believe it, he’s really slimmed down. I, on the other hand… I think we probably swapped waist sizes.
