Can't wait.... did a 6.5 day on the Shogun (8/22) and it was amazing. How is the fishing in June - assuming Alijos, Ridge, potentially the islands?

Probably hit the ridge for yellowtail and grouper and possibly bluefin on your way home.

Pretty difficult to predict very far out when you are talking about offshore fishing.
The last couple of years we have headed south, getting good numbers of yellowtail [sometimes really big ones].
It may be Alijos Rocks, The Ridge, or both.
Some years we get a some wahoo and also yellowfin tuna, and generally there are grouper, etc. mixed in too.
For about the past decade, we have hit the local bluefin on the way down and/or on the way back.
Originally, this was the period where we got albacore on the way down/back, so you never know.
