I didn’t take too many pics either. As with past years, the BD dock was loaded up!

We got some intel from one of the bass guys. He suggested we try perch just across the marina. A couple of us did. It sucked. So we ran up to the Vmac. Marcus and Garrett were there and already on a good bait stop. We slid in south for nada for 10 minutes. Went to the immediate north of Marcus and it went wide open. Doubles, triples, and even a quad.

Kool-aid slid in between us and they started loading up. Kids were hooked up right and left.

As Marcus was heading out, Corey noticed a bad bearing. Luckily we got him stopped before he left the parking lot. Between Corey, KoolAid, and Marcus, it looked like they were in good shape and didn’t need any upper mgmt to help guide them. So we split

Duramax has the best display of everyone. Y’all can figure out which pic that is.

One of these two had to earn his fish filleting merit badge. I’m not saying who taught whom...

A good side note from this event..

Oddly enough as kids were meeting captains, I found the same family I took out last year. So I took them out again, why not? This year was totally different. Their son Jackson, who was largely introverted last year, was off the hook excited to go this year. He can't really put it together in words, but I could easily see he was having a great time. He was a totally different kid. Sure, he's a year older, but I can't help but think that this whole thing helped him in some little way.

Never underestimate the difference you all make in these family’s lives. You are truly changing their worlds. I know from how people changed my sons life when he was in Special Olympics. I know it’s a different organization but the outcome was the same.
Proud of all of you for taking the time to make others feel like they can succeed too

Can’t upload the panorama shot and need to pull a couple of videos still but what a day. We pulled up just outside of the VMAC and set up just outside of everyone and proceeded to put on a show until our arms got tired of pulling in fish.

Made the run to the north end and the girls were ready for more so back on anchor we go and hooked into our big fish, a red-eyed rock bass. Pretty cool fish.
