How about some feedback on this year's tournament? How did you like the new format? I've heard many positive comments from people liking the new format and did not hear any comments wishing to go back to the previous biggest fish format.

For next year's event, would you like to try a different food for the banquet or do you like Phil's BBQ again? What other feedback do you have for us to consider as we wrap-up this year's tournament? Ideas/suggestions?

The official results will be posted soon. As for the winner's story, they may or may not be posting up their own report. I don't know. I have pics I took but used 2 cameras. I have my camera but half are on BD's camera at the BD office. They have to be resized and posted and I will do that soon.

Enjoyed myself immensely. Thank you for all the hard work you guys put in and thank you to all the sponsors. I think you mailed the format down perfectly. I still don't like waiting for the results though. Maybe a live leader board would be cool?!

Good feedback, Ali and Jason will review all feedback and provide input for next year's tournament. They did listen to feedback from last year and changed the format from biggest fish to 3 fish total.

Keep the feedback coming folks! Thank you.

As far as the big fish, top 6 finish and 300 JP, Profish hit the squid grounds off TJ, made bait and caught a 36lber about 930at anchor off a balloon using a single squid on 30lb flouro with a small slider. Moved around a bit after that rock pile ect for nothing. The pole was sitting in the holder when the fish hit.

Yep the new format is good! the people working hard to make sure it was a fun event are awesome! The beer was good. The food was good. The gas I had after the food was not good. The lady taking pictures everywhere was good. The raffle was good.........for other people. The beer was good. Our fish was not good..............enough!
    Thanks everyone!!!!

    x2........ yes I am lazy!

BD scared up some damn good prizes from the sponsors, WTG Team! :appl:

Food was good, beer was cold, MC's wife was hot!

seriously, thought it came off as one of the best, and I have been to most of them...

Team "that guy" will be back next year, with a better game plan.

    Thanks Gang!

Ok, I need to know gross receipts so I can make suggestions on how to spend on next tourney; I already know the entry amount:D...

I think to get things moving on registration, you should offer incentives to get teams signed up and money-in by say May 1st...lots of last-week-before tournament entries... like 1 free registration fee drawing for all teams signed-up by May 1st.

Try to extend prize money down to cover more place positions ....the custom made saltydawg rods were worthy of place position prizes instead of raffle.

Include a drink - soda or water with meal instead of having to purchase

It's a great tourney, keep it growing
