200K PRICE REDUCTION - 2006 61' Viking Yachts "MARLININZER" For Sale by Kusler Yachts

Below is information about a beautiful 2006 61' Viking convertible with 1995 hours located in Point Loma. If you have any further questions or would like more information, please let me know. My contact information is at the end of this post, or you can DM me. The 2000 hour service was just preformed last month. Treat yourself to an early Christmas present! Photos and video below

The Viking Yachts 61' Convertible "MARLINIZER" for sale by Kusler Yachts is one gorgeous fish-raising machine. The Viking Yachts crisp performance, clean profile and generous appointments are all-American. Conceived by the most experienced design team in the industry, the Viking 61 is the antidote for fishless days. From bow to stern, she represents nearly four decades of state-of-the-art engineering, performance and luxury. Fast and agile, her sharp, raked entry ignores head seas. "MARLINIZER" not only looks the part, she raises fish as a proven tournament winner.

Some of her features include a gorgeous teak transom, Palm Beach full tower, mezzanine seating, three stateroom three head layout, C32 CATS, fighting lady yellow hull, West Coast fishing appointments, LLC and more!

    Cockpit / Fishing
The 61's 170-square-foot cockpit is uncluttered and businesslike. A freezer, a drink box, a tackle center, a sink and engineroom access are hidden neatly in the molded-in bulkhead console. A 53-by-20-by-20-inch fish/stowage box is recessed in the sole and flanked by twin stowage wells that can be converted to live wells. Fresh- and saltwater washdowns are fitted, and Glendinning Cablemasters (port and starboard) allow easy shoreside hookups without snaking shore cords about the cockpit.

    • Mezzanine cockpit seating
    • Custom Bluewater Teak fighting chair with stainless offset pedestal
    • Teak Cockpit deck and gunwales, etc.
    • Engine room access

    Accommodations

If you consider yourself a classic yachtsman, your family will love the Viking 61's interior. Teak varnished to a high gloss simply cannot be beat. As you enter through the cockpit automatic door you are welcomed by the spacious main saloon that features a C-shaped sofa in the aft port corner that will seat six to eight people in great comfort around a hilo table, a U-shaped galley to port forward, a dinette for four people to starboard (directly opposite the galley for ease of serving meals), and a stunning sweep of low lockers in the starboard aft corner.

The galley has multiple Sub-Zero refrigerators and freezers under granite countertops. There’s still loads of stowage left over below, some of which may be given over to Miele dishwasers, trash compactors, and stoves. Deep under-mount stainless steel sinks, perfect for stashing coffeemakers in a seaway or soaking a bouillabaisse pot after dinner, are standard, as is a microwave/convection oven and an electric range. Overhead lockers on the forward bulkhead are abundant.

Belowdecks, the 61's biggest gains in the master stateroom. It has a king-size berth and a cross-bulkhead hanging locker that's thoughtfully positioned to shield sound from the machinery space. The standard three stateroom/three head arrangement is the preferred choice.

    • Three stateroom three head layout
    • Master to Port with king size bed and ensuite head
    • (6) six subzero over/under freezer drawers
    • 42" plasma flat screen
    • Starboard guest room with over under bunks
    • Forward VIP stateroom

I really dig those two custom bait tanks on the port and starboard sides of the cockpit that also serve a dual step function. Very, very cool.

    Absolutely beautiful boat!!

But man, maybe it's just me, but the very first thing I noticed right away and didn't dig at all were those tanks eating up rail space...... love the boat but hate those being right there!

Other than that...... she's so purrrrty!!

I always though this is what I wanted but i cant even find enough people to get out on my 35 on a regular basis! It is hard to find enough crew that can fish consistently (and have the means to contribute) to make these work unless you hire crew. And for that reason... I'm out!

I'm not so worried about that Mike. I'd be grateful to have that much bait. On my Boss's 52' Viking you rarely come off the back rail or out of the chair. The thing that struck me though is where is the ice maker? That rig needs an ice maker and even a back up ice maker unless everything you catch is catch and release.

Just get a good management company to take care of the daily and weekly work. I bet you could find crew no problem!
