It's only been in the salt twice, both times out of Noyo. I have ran it on some very rough days at Clear Lake and other larger lakes and the deep vee can plow through the chop long after all the bass boats go in. Bottom line, it does fine in chop but I've never tested it in swell over three or four feet. I'd feel very safe fishing socal inshore on an average day but wouldn't be running offshore in it. Maybe someone else might have another opinion or some insight?
