looking awesome!

can you post the model number for the bracket? stainless marine is pretty well known and it would be good for other skipjack owners who are going outboard to have this for a reference.

Awesome job on the build, she's really starting to take shape. Just curious, if it's 10 why'd you go with the 11.

Yes, and no, if you don't leave any valuables. Cameras keep an eye on the place. I don't leave anything out there. Its easier for me to load up the truck then getting to the yard and having no tools...

Thank you! Good question, This was stainless marines recommendation. They said that the engine tilt will compensate for the 1 degree. They stock brackets that work for a variety of boats and it's common to round to the closest degree. It was more $ and 3-6weeks to get a 10degree custom bracket. If it was 2-3 degrees off I'd be Ordering a custom.

I used a Stainless Marine Swimstep Brackets on three different boats, the latest when I converted my Skippy Open 20. They are not cheap but are well made from the right alloy. I think you will be very happy.

Put in a few hours getting the cabin walls installed, test fit the new starboard center hatch and drilled the holes for the bracket but got rained out. It looked really good from the test fit. Just a side note that the template that comes with the bracket rocks! So easy! Hopefully I'll bolt it on after work this week.
Wife was stoked on seeing some progress!

Shaping up to be a sick ass boat. You got skills for sure. Guys with FB's always seem to find the fish. What's going on the back?

The nonskid is gelcoat mixed with Z spar non skid additive, basically silica sand. You can get the wood at Austin hardwoods, teak and holly plywood.

Thank you

Bolted the Bracket on, installed the Hulliner on Saturday and my wife rolled fresh gelcoat in the cabin while I cut hatches.

Brings back memories, my first boat was a 20 skippy. I Took the whole thing boat apart every last nut and bolt. I even removed the fly bridge and top cap. I really Loved that boat, we started a family and out grew it. Good luck she is going to ride great
