One of those trips you read about / hear about from friends !!! My timing was great along with 21 other passengers.

Essentially, the BFT bit sardines. Bulk of fish on 30 pound flourocarbon. I got my first fish on 25lb. then moved to 30 like everyone else. A few fish on 40 string but not many.

45-65lb fish. Also got a random 50 pound YFT in the mix. Only a few flatfall fish for the trip. Ended up with 112 BFT for the boat and 4 YFT.

Got my 6 fish limit and happy about that ! lost a few (pulled hooks and bite-offs) but that's normal stuff.

Crew was AWESOME !! Food was great ! Fishing was off the HOOK!!!!!!!!!!

I see some boats scheduling 1.75 and 2.75 trips . What’s the advantage?

Boat leaves at 11 am so they can fish the entire first night. Also since they leave before noon they can keep an extra days limit. A 1.75 counts as 2 days to cdfw.
