2 and 1/2 days by plane - most definitely.
2 and 1/2 days by car - certainly.
2 and 1/2 days by boat - more than likely.

Haha. Don't worry bud, you'll have a great trip. Just read the recent threads about what's been working and what hasn't. If the weather softens a bit, you may be in store for that "epic" trip. Again, just make sure you pick up the pointers from the recent BFT trips. Good luck!

    Best regards,

    Paul

Keep a positive attitude and the Karma will flow. It's a gauranteed fishing trip, catching is the bonus. You increased your odds by chosing the Indian and the length of the trip will give you time to get into the meat of the zone. Like Paul said read the reports on what has been working. Good luck!

You don't sound to confident. The 1.5 day boats are getting them so why wouldn't the 2.5 ... Right? Fish hard from sun up to sun down. You will have a good shot at what's out there.

Oh shit Kris is on your trip? The two times Kris and I have fished together were two amazing wide open trips both times we got limits. Yellowtail and yellowfin. Maybe Kris is good luck. If the trip stinks blame him.... Lol. Have a good time guys.

    Yup. July 4th 2-day trip in 2006.

I'm leaving my bass gear at home for this one. 25#-50# with fluoro, black/silver megabait with a single hook on 30# for the slide, one heavy rig set up with a 2 oz weight to work the deeper meter marks, and head-to-toe Grundens.

Remember to check your drags each morning.

Fish move from day to day. Multiple boats cover different boddies of water. On a 1.5 you have time to cover water but not that much time. On a 2.5 day you have a full next day to adjust and travel a little at night to a whole new area. I dont know the indian but i'm sure hes has some contacts out there especially over the weekend when more boats are running. So yes you have a good shot at whats out there.
