Short but sweet, Shot out to Cat again today, saw a leather back turtle or a Green sea not sure which about 10 miles out of NP, all the Bonies you want by the rock quarry. Backside Silver Cyn area Lots of life tons of birds, porpoise, and bait over there. Got a short Hali, macs, a nice sole and another Mantis shrimp.
Definitely squid back there!! While drifting for Halibut my rigs were coming up with squid egg sacks. Water still cold about 55-57 !! smooth seas there and back.

The turtle is not a leatherback as their shells are more black colored with ridges the run down the shell from the neck to the tail.

When we lived on the Adriatic in Italy, Mantis Shrimp were common in the restaurants. They were very good eating. They were sautéed in butter and garlic. But, what isn't good sautéed in butter and garlic? lol Seriously, they were very good.

Yeah it’s a green sea turtle big difference in the two for sure !!
