Some updates on the boat:
last bottom inspection: no blisters, no evidence of electrolysis, the bottom paint will need to be redone at the end of the season. all three bilges replaced recently and all working fine. trim tabs all good and very effective, the boat is so easy to maneuver with its small size and twin screws. glass is all clear, no hazing. boat has one working bait tank in the rear transom, another one under the helm leaning post that has been disconnected. all canvas and seat cushions new two years ago. So all clean with no tears. engines run to maximum 3400 RPM per engine specs. Port engine runs a little high temp at full rpm only, so may need to flush heat exchanger, but normal temp at cruise RPM.
combination center console and walkaround design makes it very easy to move around the boat. People have asked about the interior. Not much to say there, it is not a full interior like you might want with kitchen, bathroom, etc. It is basically a v-berth with a porta-potty on the side and some storage cabinets.
as far as trailering goes, it does not have a trailer. it is trailerable, around 7,500 pounds and width of 9'6". but not easy like a simple center console.
I did a search on yachtworld of all boats from 1997 to 2001 with diesel engines and between 28-32 ft. What did I find: the cheapest boat in California was $79,000 and the cheapest boat in the entire USA was $35,000 in florida.
The only reason I am looking to sell the boat is because I am planning to bring my other boat back to Los Angeles from San diego. I am using the boat regularly, everything is ready to go. stereo, VHF, radar, GPS, fishfinder all work. has autopilot, the hydraulics are working fine, but the control computer is not reading something correctly, may just be bad wiring. (raymarine smartpilot).
